The rounded boxwood handle is a hard, fine grained wood, dense and strong.
The high quality carbon steel blade gives this knife it's advantage - easier to sharpen, a carbon steel blade will also hold it's edge for longer.
Handwash only and always dry thoroughly after use.
Not to be left in water.
Over time the blade will develop a patina of oxidation.
This is the normal reaction of carbon steel to daily use and will not only help to prevent corrosion, but is what will ultimately give these knives their charm
